THE GREAT $224 MILLION BOUNTY HUNT

fbi-most-wanted-bounty-rewards

Forget the lottery! You can pocket big bucks by providing information leading to the location of America’s most notorious criminals, terrorists and missing persons!

The government has earmarked more than $224 million for such informants, and ordinary folks have collected fat checks for tipping off authorities.

For example, former Miss Iceland-turned-yoga teacher Anna Bjornsdottir got $2 million from the FBI for information that led to the arrest of her one-time neighbor, notorious crime boss James “Whitey” Bulger.

To collect the cash, you only need to provide information that helps the feds take down the big baddies.

The biggest is demented Dr. Ayman al-Zawahiri, who climbed to the top of al Qaeda’s evil empire after SEAL Team Six took out Osama bin Laden. The price tag on his head is a whopping $25 million!

Here are other sinister snakes – with bounties totalling $13.4 million on their heads!

JASON DEREK BROWN ARMED ROBBER AND MURDERER

After serving as a Mormon missionary in France, Brown, 45, ran up huge debts as a sporting goods importer in Salt Lake City. He enrolled in a series of firearms classes, and then allegedly shot and killed an armored car guard. He fled the scene – by bicycle – with $56,000 in cash. The FBI said he may be in hiding in a Mormon community: “Brown enjoys being the center of attention and has been known to frequent nightclubs, where he enjoys showing off his high-priced vehicles, boats and other toys.” Feds suggested looking for him in Utah, California and Arizona, but warned: “He may have a Glock 9mm and a .45-caliber handgun.

ROBERT WILLIAM FISHER MURDERER  AND ARSONIST

This Navy veteran, 54, is wanted for allegedly killing his wife, Mary, and their children, Brittney, 13, and Bobby Jr., 10, and then blowing up their Scottsdale, Ariz., home in 2001. Fisher reportedly confessed to a one-night stand with a prostitute and was facing a brutal divorce. Instead, he shot Mary once in the head and slashed his children’s throats. The house exploded the next morning, and he disappeared. Fisher was last known to have been in the Tonto National Forest, north of Scottsdale. Feds believe he may be in New Mexico or Florida with a large arsenal of weapons.

JOANNE CHESIMARD TERRORIST

The first woman named to the FBI’s Most Wanted Terrorist List is a 67-year-old relic of the revolutionary 1970s. A ringleader in the ultra-radical Black Liberation Army, Chesimard was convicted of murder for the cold-blooded shooting of a New Jersey state trooper in 1973. She escaped from prison in 1979 and went on the run. In 1984, she surfaced in Cuba where Fidel Castro granted her asylum! Now known as Assata Shakur – and for being late rapper Tupac’s aunt – she’s suddenly very vulnerable in a newly open Cuba.

JABER A. ELBANEH AMERICAN TERRORIST

An upstate New York factory worker and father of seven, Elbaneh, 48, has been hunted since 2003 for providing “material support” to al Qaeda before the September 11, 2001, attacks. He’s also accused of traveling to Afghanistan in 2001 with “The Lackawanna Six” – a traitorous gang from his Arab neighborhood in suburban Buffalo. The six were arrested and pleaded guilty to terrorism charges, but Elbaneh fled to Yemen. He was arrested there, but busted out of prison in February 2006. The CIA believes he may have returned to America to reconnect with his network.

RTEM SEMENOV CONMAN

The Russian-born immigrant – who variously claimed to be 35 and 29 – is the FBI’s most-wanted cyber criminal. The agency exclusively told The ENQUIRER that while Semenov is not violent, he is clever. He allegedly recruited a ring of Eastern European students  in a computer banking scheme that netted at least $3 million. Semenov was busted in Dec. 2009, but freed on bail – and promptly disappeared. The FBI said he’s likely in Las Vegas because he likes “casinos and playing poker.”

If you have information that you believe can lead to the apprehension of these criminals, contact the State Department and FBI by phone or online.
