Nick Nolte injured as fire engulfs Malibu home.

Nolte’s secluded Bonsall Drive house was  reported ablaze at 1130 AM Tuesday. 

The fire evidently started in his living room as the result of an electrical overload.

The actor allegedly tried to put the fire out before smashing a window to escape the inferno.

The Tropic Thunder thesp scraped his arm and inhaled smoke but saw his own physician opting out of a trip to the ER.

Damage to Nolte’s palatial digs are estimated at $1.5 million according to LA County Fire Inspector Sam Padilla.
