Evan Chandler, the father of Michael Jackson molest accuser, Jordy, prior to his  suicide spent his last days isolated and alone -- depressed and estranged from  his own son -- before blowing his brains out.

Reports of the personal life of Evan Chandler, a 65-year-old Beverly Hills dentist-turned-recluse, have surfaced -- including that the once-handsome man drastically changed his looks with plastic surgery to avoid backlash over the molestation incident from the late King of Pop's fans.

"Over the years, he began to develop tremendous mood swings. He was always depressed," a family member told the NY Post.

 "He stopped coming to family events because he was afraid of being recognized, like anyone in the family would care.

"That eventually turned into permanent estrangement from his family."

Evan Chandler had been estranged from his son, Jordan who brought the charges against Jackson, for the past three years. 

Jordy received a restraining order against his father following an alleged attack with a barbell and mace. 

Criminal charges were later dropped.

As The ENQUIRER reported yesterday NJ police found Evan Chandler dead at Liberty Towers (see picture) in Jersey City with a gun in his hand, no suicide note and prescription medication indicating a very serious medical condition.
