NEW TV JUDGE GETS TOUGH ON REAL-LIFE CRIME
TV’s newest daytime judge is laying down the law about America’s biggest true-crime cases.
Hard-hitting Judge Jeanine Pirro – who dispenses her wisdom on The CW network – has tough words for former police sergeant Drew Peterson, notorious Florida mom Casey Anthony and O.J. Simpson.
The former no-nonsense Westchester County, N.Y., district attorney has become an expert on the cases, including the year-long disappearance of Stacy Peterson, and says it’s time for Stacy’s husband to come clean.
“Show yourself!” she demanded in an exclusive interview. Peterson is suspected in connection with the disappearance of his fourth wife Stacy and the suspicious death of his third wife, Kathleen Savio.
“I think law enforcement is absolutely confident he killed wife number three and most probably wife number four, but it’s a question of evidence,” says Pirro. “You can assume Stacy is dead because she would never leave her children, and there is no question that Kathleen was a homicide victim. She wrote to the state’s attorney saying: ‘If they find me dead, Drew did it.’”
Pirro also says it should not be difficult to convict Casey Anthony for the first-degree murder of her 2-year-old daughter Caylee, even though her body has not been found.
“This case is so solid that I cannot imagine this psychopath getting away with it!” Pirro told The ENQUIRER.
As for O.J.’s recent conviction in his robbery and kidnapping case, the TV judge doesn’t expect him to be sprung anytime soon.
“The evidence was substantial,” said Pirro. “He had better not be holding his breath for an appeal. I think it’s over for him.”
