HALLOWEEN HANGING HAS HAPPY ENDING

Sean Jennings wanted out of his marriage to wife Cheryl – and he hit on a better idea than divorce.

He told her he was setting up a haunted house in the garage for their kids to enjoy at Halloween. He showed her a noose that was supposed to scare the kids. Then he slipped her head into the loop – and tried to hang her!

As she was desperately fighting for her life, hanging from a noose around her neck, he told her: “Killing you is easier than getting a divorce.”

Cheryl survived only because he had a last-second change of heart.

“When people hear about it, they say, ‘You’re kidding. He tried to do what?’” Det. John Miller told The ENQUIRER. “I’ve been a cop for 30 years, but I’ve never had anything quite so bizarre as this.”

A court in Spokane, Wash., heard details about Jennings’ evil Halloween scheme on Sept. 2 when he pleaded guilty to a charge of attempted murder.
