The CW star came clean in a recent interview he was fond of the five finger discount when toiling as a valet for the high and the mighty in Malibu during his pre fame days.

What did he steal? Chewing gum.

In fact, Chace's chewy confession blew a big PR bubble at Wrigley's.

"They actually sent over a huge pack of gum and said, 'Now you won't have to steal any more gum," the lanky Texan revealed.

"Here's a lifetime supply.' I guess they heard about it."
