DAVID COPPERFIELD CAN'T MAKE RAPE CLAIM DISAPPEAR

Bad news for magician David Copperfield — he hasn’t been able to make a rape investigation against him vanish.

The shocking allegations were made last year by a Seattle beauty queen, now 22 — and sources close to her tell The ENQUIRER that the FBI is “still actively pursuing” its investigation…and could still bring charges against the 52-year-old illusionist.

“The case is open and ongoing,” revealed a family friend. “FBI agents recently brought her into the Seattle field office and assured her that they were going ahead with the investigation.

“They said they were hoping to wrap things up by the end of the year.

“That was a relief to her, because she still wants justice and wasn’t sure that was going to happen.”
