It’s all about business, not love, for “Modern Family” sexpot Sofia Vergara!
The National ENQUIRER has learned the curvy beauty turned down a wedding proposal from new beau, Joe Manganiello.
“Joe asked Sofia for her hand in marriage in mid-October,” a friend told The ENQUIRER.
“But Sofia’s not far removed from breaking off an engagement, and she told him they should wait a year, and then talk again.” The “True Blood” stud, 37, began dating Sofia, 42, in July, soon after she’d split from fiancé Nick Loeb.
The couple now live together in Sofia’s Beverly Hills villa, and Joe was disheartened by the turndown, the friend said.
But according to another source, Sofia is simply more concerned about business. Along with her TV salary and a slew of endorsement deals, she’s now the highest paid actress on the small screen, raking in $37 million a year.
The source said: “Sofia is ‘business first’ these days, and while she’s crazy about Joe, she isn’t crazy enough to marry him after four months of dating.”
