Chris Noth, Mr. Big to you Sex and the City fans out there, is out.

After three seasons of Law and Order: Criminal Intent, Noth has left the precinct.

He's being replaced by lanky Jeff Goldblum (Jurassic Park).

Detective Mike Logan, Noth's character, was on the  original Law & Order series from 1990 through 1995 before leaving for sexier Carrie Bradshaw pastures.

After a very special two-partner resolving a hanging storyline Noth returned to the Dick Wolf franchise on Criminal Intent - which explores the criminal psyche from the perspective of both baddies and cops.

"All's well that ends well," Noth stated regarding his departure this go-round.

But then again,  never say never - right, Chris?
